Control Over Media is a Must for Governments

Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.
Thomas Jefferson, 1787

In America the first newspaper appeared in Boston in 1690, entitled Publick Occurrences. Published without authority, it was immediately suppressed, its publisher arrested, and all copies were destroyed.

With the new age technology of the internet, it has become increasingly important for the government to control. The internet is the final frontier as the internet eclipses all other forms of media today.

Today, people can freely broadcast their views, opinions, video footage and photographs to the rest of the world online.

However, in many cases online, people have already been charged for expressing their outrage over an event or have been investigated for  posting their anti-government beliefs online.

The new legislations of law enforcement within the internet has begun in many countries, and people will become conditioned to fear expressing their opinions or knowledge online.

The chain of development began with newspaper circulation hundreds of years ago as the governments of those times forced their required endorsements into circulation.

In the 1930s, The Radio Project was launched as a social research project funded by the Rockefeller Foundation to look into the effects of mass media on society.

The results were best made known in the Orson Wells adaptation of the War of the Worlds, broadcast on Halloween in 1938.

Then in the 1950s, the new age invention of audio and video delivery by means of televisions began to charge the new age.

Programming was broadcast by television stations, sometimes called "channels", and those stations were licensed by their governments, to broadcast only over assigned channels in the television band.

At first, terrestrial broadcasting was the only way television could be widely distributed, and because bandwidth was limited, there were only a small number of government regulated channels available.

Speaking of bandwidth, who controls the bandwidth of the internet? Who controls all domain names and servers ability to connect and receive from the internet? Here is some information to chew on.

The internet was developed by Pentagon-funded researchers in the 1960s and 1970s, and the decentralized computer network known as the Internet was born.

Personal computers began their journey as a modern way of life in the 1990's with the introduction of Microsoft Windows, and the expansion of the internet was underway.

In the early 1990’s, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates was taken to court by the U.S. Justice Department in a case referred to as the United States Microsoft antitrust case.

ICANN was created in 1998 and operates in California. This company is the primary manager of all domain names in existence.

The company is a private operation and includes international members on its board, however, the U.S. Department of Commerce vetos or approves its decisions.

The government of China has currently regulated all activity on the internet, and this is conducted under a wide variety of laws and administrative regulations.

China is a known as an experimental government for world affairs. Currently the rights to reproduce children fall under legislation, and citizens can not have more than one child in China.

Those who want complete domination of a society only need to review the experimental laws of the Republic of China to see a formula that can be adopted across the natural world.

Governments need control of the community perceptions in order to influence directions and agendas that may not necessarily benefit the residents of the population.

The internet is the final focus of mass manipulation.

The final journey to control the perceptions of the public and deter opponents of international agenda is underway.

Once the western culture accepts the conditions and controls of laws regulating the internet, the final control over the internet will be achieved.

Those who believe the internet is the new age to freely communicate with other people better remember who began the development of the internet.

The Pentagon is the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense. Their visualization of a world wide internet was funded by a department of DEFENSE.

Do you really believe the intentions of a department designed to protect the government would create a mechanism of communication that could be used to harm the reputation of the government?

If you are a member of the mainstream media, you have been had. If you pay attention to the mainstream media, you have been had. If you are an internet surfer, you have been had. Sorry to tell you, but invention always becomes a resource of control. Always!

What is going to happen with the internet? History repeats itself, and the same things that happened to newspapers, radio stations and television channels will happen to the internet. The internet is about to become a government controlled atmosphere.

You will watch what you say during webcam communication with others, you will watch what you say when you blog articles or posts, you will now become regulated by the same conditions as the mainstream media. I guarantee it.
